VertiCali is an app that helps you get better at calisthenics by pointing out mistakes while you film yourself. You prop the phone up, train, and the app does the rest.
What it does:
- Live voice coaching: It names the error the second it happens (“hips in, stay straight”) and draws the line over your body so you can see what it means.
- Automatic trimming: Because it measures you while filming, it already knows where each attempt was: the clip opens with every attempt marked and the best one ready to export.
- Measurement modes: Handstand hold time and alignment (hip distance to the shoulder ankle line, frame by frame), plus a rep counter for pull ups and push ups. Planche and front lever progressions are coming next.
- Hands free control: The phone is meters away, so commands are body poses (T, Y, X with your arms) confirmed with a ring, and the flash signals when recording starts.
- For coaches and students: Coaches see every student’s progress on one dashboard and leave comments pinned to the exact second of a take.
Recording and measuring are free and run on your own device.
